100 gm Rolled Oats (Toasted)
75 gm Dark Compound Chocolate (70-80% chocolate)
25 gm Cranberries
5 gm Black Resins
20 gm Pumpkin seeds (toasted)
4 Pitted Dates
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 tsp Honey
Salt and Cinnamon powder per taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if you’d like to toast the oats and pumpkin seeds.You can use a wok or pan to toast the oats.
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
Make a coarse date paste. Use 2 tbsp of water.
In a saucepan on a low flame, mix the peanut butter and date mixture until they mix well.
Add honey and seasoning to the peanut butter and date mixture.
Combine the mixtures (dry and wet ingredients) till all are well combined.
Use a double boiler or microwave to melt the dark chocolate.
If using a baking mould, line the mould with chocolate and let it cool and become firm.
Press the mixture into the mould and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Once cooled, drizzle the chocolate over the top.
Let is cool again before removing from the mould.
Incase you don't have a mould, transfer the mixture on a baking tray lined with a parchment paper.
Cover and let it cool for 1 hr. The time depends on the height. Check if it has become firm.
Once all set, cut it into desired shape and dip it in chocolate.
